Furthering Sheridan’s commitment to WIL and supporting the success of our faculty, staff, and students, I am very excited to announce that Joanne Islip has been hired for the role of Project Manager, Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Hub.
Joanne has worked at Sheridan for 17 years, in roles that span across both domains of careers/employment services as well as student advisement and development. Her breadth of background, intimate knowledge of Sheridan students and academic programming, and experience working on institution-wide projects and policies will greatly benefit this new initiative for Sheridan.
As a starting point, a small project team is being assembled within a WIL Hub. Our team is excited to explore opportunities for institutional sharing, collaboration, and build upon our collective passion for exceptional student experiences in WIL. More to follow. Stay tuned!
