Library and Learning Services is excited to announce that the Trafalgar Library is getting a much needed refresh this summer. The aim of the renovation project is to provide students and faculty with a more modern, welcoming, and accessible learning space. The new space will include more study seating, better access to more power, as well as exhibit and event space.
To expedite the renovation, there will be a complete closure of the existing Library space from May until mid-August. During this time, the Library will offer a relocated space for collections and services to provide as little disruption to our community as possible. Library staff are currently working with ADs, coordinators and reviewing circulation statistics to determine the portions of the collection that will remain available during the closure given the space limitations on campus.
The Library will be providing an online guide to update students and faculty on changes in spaces, hours and services from May to August. Please look for this guide in next week’s Insider.
