Furniture mediates between the body and the environment, at once as intimate as clothing and as public as a building. It conforms to the variations of human need as it supports our bodies and our activities, while providing scale to the world around us. This exhibition of work by students in all four years of the Furniture Studio of Sheridan’s Honours Bachelor of Craft and Design program investigates the relationship between body, space and function as students respond in their own unique manner to the specific constraints of each course project.
