In the March 19 edition of the Sheridan Insider, we offered Sheridan employees the opportunity to obtain a complimentary pass for the 2018 Polytechnics Canada national conference, which is being co-hosted by Sheridan and held at our Davis Campus in Brampton on May 15.
Thank you to everyone who registered through our email RSVP line. Everyone who sent in an RSVP request will receive a pass to attend. As of today, the complimentary spaces allotted to Sheridan, as co-host, are full.
Two additional speakers have been added to the conference line-up: The Hon. Kirsty Duncan, Federal Minister of Science, and John Stackhouse, Senior Vice President at the Royal Bank of Canada and former Editor in Chief, The Globe and Mail. Keynote speakers who were previously announced include Kristin Sharp, Director of the Initiative on Work, Workers and Technology of New America and Dr. Gerard Puccio, visiting Sheridan Scholar in Creativity from Buffalo State University.
