Credit Transfer Policy (formerly known as the Advanced Standing Policy) was approved by Senate and in effect as of April 2, 2018.
Notable changes to the Policy include:
- The expansion of multiple equivalencies to allow for the maximum transfer of credits; and
- The inclusion of a Letters of Permission process, whereby students can get permission in advance to take courses at another institution (while currently enrolled at Sheridan) and apply the earned credits to a Sheridan credential.
The Policy can be accessed here: Credit Transfer Policy v.1
The Procedure can be accessed here: Credit Transfer Procedure v.1
