Michelle Chretien

Michelle Chretien, Director of Sheridan’s Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technologies, was recognized last week by industry alliance intelliFLEX for her leadership in groundbreaking materials science and printable electronics research. Prior to joining Sheridan in early 2018, Michelle helped advance the Xerox Research Centre of Canada’s work in novel materials, advanced manufacturing, and printed/flexible electronics, frequently collaborating with organizations or individuals to develop new technologies. Throughout her career, she has championed the commercialization of innovation and public engagement in science.

When presenting Michelle with the inaugural Women in STEM award at the its 2018 Canadian Printable/Flexible Electronics Symposium Awards last Thursday, intelliFLEX CEO Peter Kallai recognized the exemplary energy and passion Michelle brings to her work, and lauded her as a role model for fellow scientists and innovators.
