The Welcome Back Breakfast is quickly approaching.
Part-time employees will not have to complete a yellow payroll form to be compensated for attending the breakfast as in the past. All employees will be required to tap their OneCard upon entering the Living Arts Centre. This tap will not only register you for any prize draws, but it will be used to track your attendance for the event.
As a reminder, no additional compensation will be provided to full-time employees attending this event since it is held within regular office hours.
For part-time (PT) employees, there are three scenarios that may apply:
- PT employees who are permanently scheduled to work on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. will be paid as regularly scheduled. Any staff who do not attend the event are expected to report to work as the College will be open.
- PT employees who are not permanently scheduled to work on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. should tap their OneCard upon entering the Living Arts Centre. No paper forms are required. Do not include these hours on your regular timesheet submission.
- PT employees without a current contract should also should tap their OneCard upon entering the Living Arts Centre. No paper forms are required. This time will be paid at the hourly rate listed on the employee’s most recent employment relationship with the College.
For PT employees, payment for these hours will be included on the September 14 deposit.
