Sheridan Student Union (SSU) is looking for 12 student leaders to help enhance the student experience here at Sheridan.
As a student-led, non-profit organization, SSU is governed by a Board of Directors – an elected group of 12 Student Life Advocates. These students are voted in by their fellow students and help guide and manage the SSU’s strategic vision. They work with us to represent student interests and ideas within the Sheridan community.
Please share this information with any students you think would fit the role! To get involved, students can attend an elections info session. We’ll dive into the role, show students how to complete their nomination package and share some tips for engaging with their fellow students during their campaign.
- January 29 (HMC Clubs Room): 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. / 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. / 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- January 31 (Davis Boardroom): 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. / 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. / 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- February 1 (Trafalgar Boardroom): 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. / 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. / 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Students can visit thessu.ca/elections to complete a nomination package between January 28 and February 21 and take the first step to becoming a Student Life Advocate.
