Coldest Night of the Year Event
On Saturday, February 23, Sheridan’s Police Foundations students volunteered as Course Marshals for the Coldest Night of the Year event in Mississauga.
Community members raised over $35,000 and walked 2K, 5K or 10K in support of Eden Food for Change Food Bank. Our students provided a safe walking environment for all that participated.
On Monday, February 25, Sheridan’s Police Foundations program hosted the annual Ontario Provincial Police Symposium.
The event was filled to capacity and students engaged in physical fitness testing, defensive tactics, a recruiting information session and collaborative mentoring sessions led by officers, some of which were former students.
