I am pleased to inform you that Cathy Coulthard has accepted a sixteen month secondment as Associate Dean in the School of Education, Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies. We are delighted to have Cathy join our team.
Her commitment to students, professional education and excellence is second to none. Cathy has been with Sheridan since 1998 when she started as a part-time instructor in the Early Childhood Education program. Since that time, Cathy has performed a variety of roles including: faculty member, Academic Advisor and Coordinator for the full-time ECE program and for the part-time ECE diploma. Cathy is two-time recipient of the NISOD Excellence Award, and she is the 2014 recipient of the Vivienne Sager Award for College Council.
Cathy holds two Master’s degrees (Early Childhood Education and Education), and she is currently completing her doctorate in Developmental Psychology and Education at the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education (OISE). Cathy is most proud of the fact that she completed the Early Childhood Education Diploma at Sheridan in 2014. Please join me in extending a warm welcome and congratulations to Cathy.
