The First Year Library Team hosted its first ever Exam Jam on Monday, December 1st at the Davis campus library. The event attracted just under 200 students who attended one of the 5 study sessions, took a stretch break with Move U, or visited the main Exam Jam hub. In the hub, students could play games, make cards for their friends and family, jot down a helpful study tip, learn more about tutoring and the first year library team, or enjoy a free healthy snack and some hot chocolate.

Our volunteers helped make the event a success. Thank you to Move U and their amazingly energetic peers, Alumni Services for generously providing hot chocolate, and our two faculty volunteers who ran Java study sessions, Magdin Stoica and Rich Smith. We would also like to give a special thanks to our Exam Jam logo designer, Connie Choi, a Bachelor of Illustration student and library page; Connie’s logo was used for this first Exam Jam and will be used in the future as well.
