Renovations during the winter break

From now until January 12 when students return for their first day of class in 2015, Sheridan will be undertaking two renovation projects.

The Environmental Engineering Laboratory in room B138 at Davis is being upgraded to meet current academic needs.  Facilities Services will make every effort to minimize noise, dust or odour in the surrounding area.  Representatives from Sheridan’s Occupational Health and Safety team have been apprised of the work and will work with the Project Coordinator to ensure that it proceeds in a safe manner. If you have any further questions pertaining to this renovation please contact Aleks Szymakowska, Project Coordinator, Facilities Services-Projects at aleksandra.szymakowska@sheridancollege.ca

At the Trafalgar Road Campus, Facilities Services will also be undertaking major upgrades to heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting systems in C wing beginning on December 12. The work will also involve painting and replacement of ceilings in some spaces. The project is in support of Sheridan’s Integrated Energy and Climate Master Plan, and is expected to yield as much as 40% energy savings in the building, once completed.  During construction, there will be hoarding in place to separate work zones from active areas of the building. Please be aware that foot traffic will be detoured around active work areas.  If you require information about accessibility to this location or if you have any further questions pertaining to the renovation please contact Katie Rinas, Project Coordinator, Facilities Services-Projects at katherine.rinas@sheridancollege.ca or extension 2397.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to enhance our teaching and working environment.
