Sheridan’s 2015 Welcome Back Breakfast has been named as a finalist for the 2016 Canadian Event Industry Awards!
The Canadian Event Industry Awards are the pinnacle mark of professional achievement in Canadian event planning, and the highest honour a Canadian event professional can earn.
Our 2015 Welcome Back Breakfast is a finalist for Best Event Produced for a Corporation by an in House Team or Planner.
For the past 16 years, the Welcome Back Breakfast has become an annual tradition at Sheridan. For the past 10 years, it has been held at the Mississauga Convention Centre (mid‐way between our campuses). In 2015, the Conference & Event Services team was challenged to bring the event back on campus. Over 950 employees attended the 2015 Breakfast, which was held at the Trafalgar Athletic facilities and centred on the theme of wellness.
Held on the Wednesday of the week before classes begin, this employee-only event kicks off the new academic year, celebrates employees, and provides updates on our institutional vision and goals. For the past 4 years, it has also launched the upcoming year’s President’s Creative Challenge.
