Recognizing that the recent labour disruption has had a significant impact on all of our community members, we are modifying the Academic Standing Policy for the fall 2017 term (only) to recognize the challenge this semester has had on our students.
- Academic Suspensions will not be issued to any student in their first semester following admission. No change.
- Returning students in an Ontario College Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Graduate Certificate program whose Program Term GPA and Program Cumulative GPA falls below 1.2, will be placed on Academic Probation.
Students would normally receive an Academic Suspension (SP) for two consecutive terms. - Returning students in a Degree Program and whose Program Term GPA and Program Cumulative GPA falls below 2.0 will be placed on Academic Probation.
Students would normally receive an Academic Suspension (SP) for two consecutive terms - Students who are on Academic Probation and who do not meet the Academic Probation minimum requirements in their following term will remain on Academic Probation. Students would normally receive an academic suspension.
