The Trafalgar Library has been getting a much needed refresh this summer. The aim of the renovation project is to provide students and faculty with a more modern, welcoming, and accessible learning space. The new space will include more study seating, better access to more power, as well as exhibit and event space.
During the renovations, our community has access to a temporary library in room E103 which offers study space and limited collections. This room will no longer be available to the community as of 4:30pm on Thursday August 16 to accommodate the relocation of materials back into the renovated Library space. For any research and collections requests between August 17 and start of term, please email library@sheridancollege.ca. You may also consult the following link to a guide which provides ongoing updates to students and faculty on changes in spaces, hours and services: https://sheridancollege.libguides.com/libraryrenovations.
In the meantime, please direct questions, suggestions and concerns to Pamela McBride (pamela.mcbride@sheridancollege.ca).
The Library and Learning Services team looks forward to welcoming our community into our newly renovated space in the very near future. Please stay tuned for a grand opening announcement.
